Voting Question: please revise this for an abortion speech?
In order to solve the increasingly high number of abortions, I don't think overturning Roe vs. Wade would be the best idea, because back alley abortions will be back and we'll see an increase in deaths. I think we need more education about pregnancy and safe havens in high school. Sex education classes should include basics on anatomy-most boys and girls don't even know the names of their parts-and most don't know how a girl's cycle works or how pregnancy occurs. Being more aware about contraceptives could also reduce the number of pregnancies and therefore the number of abortions. Easy and affordable access to birth control and condoms, especially in lower income areas where thepregnancy rates are higher--since teens are the majority of abortion customers. At clinics, mandatory education and counceling about the pregnancy procedure and risks-both immediate and down the line if considering an abortion. Also they should let women know about other options like safehavens, medicaid, and adoption. Another way to reduce the abortion rate is better support for women and families. 70% of women who have an abortion say it is at least in part due to financial reasons. Better availability of adequate health insurance and maternity leave can also help reduce the number of abortions. this speech is a persuasion speech..my teacher told me to come up with a law or something to stop abortions, but i think this may actually be better because i think the problem is that we just have too many and they are being done as a means of birth control let me know if this is good?!
