Resolved Question: Would it be a good economic decision to lower my limits of liability on my car insurance?
I'm looking at my bills, and trying to cut costs, would it be wise to lower the limits of liability on our older (2004) car. I currently do not have comprehensive coverage on it... we only have that on the newer one. Here's what I have now: Bodily Injury - 25,000 / 50,000 Property Damage - 50,000 Personal Injury - 10,000 Uninsured Motor Vehicle - 25,000 Bodily Injury (non-stacked) - 50,000 Really, my husband only uses this car to go to work and back. We use the newer car for everything else. What would you recommend lowering our limits to, or would you recommend lowering them at all? Thanks!!! I know nothing about this... I just have what the insurance agent told me to get. I've done the comparisons, and I have my car insurance and homeowners insurance with a professional organization that has given me the lowest rates I can find. I had Geico before, and this is cheaper. Just checked out AllState today, and my policy is still by far the cheapest available, so I'm not looking to switch insurance companies.

Resolved Question: What are some issues with buying a car with a salvage title?
I'm not buying I'm selling but want to know what, besides the title, would keep someone from buying the car. It's a 96 Cavalier with 84k miles on a rebuilt motor. It looks really nice and runs great, but it was rear ended. The damage isn't so bad to the trunk, but the trunk rim was bent so the insurance company totaled the car. Part of the settlement was a salvage title but I can keep the car. I might drive it, I might sell it as a point A to point B car for $1,000 OBO. What does anybody think?
